Quit Yer Lurking!
This week is de-lurking week!
To celebrate I’m asking you lot to share a bit about yourselves… it can be anything you want, but I have a couple of questions I’d like to know the answer to:
- Do you live in Birmingham?
- If yes, what area / district?
- If no, where do you live?
- Are you from Birmingham originally?
- If not, what brought you to Birmingham?
I also encourage you to pose your own questions you’d like to know about each other!
Yes.
Bournville.
No, though my dad is.
Uni in the 90s and then I just liked the place. Moved to London for 3 years in 2000 but came back.
Hey Pete,
Thanks for the reply! I’m also a semi-frequent lurker of your blog, too :)
I guess I should also post my own answers:
Yes (duh ;))
Erdington
No, moved here after university, for a job, and it’s been growing on me ever since.
YesGreet, sandwiched between Sparkhill and Tysely. We used to be refered to as the “Forgotten corner of Small Heath” but then the ward borders were redrawn so we became the forgotten corner of Yardly South.N/AThat’s a matter of debate. I was born in Royal Leamington Spa but moved to Solihull (where I was raised and lived until I was 27) when I was 2 so Royal Leamington spa doesn’t really count. Most people from outside the area count Solihull as part of Birmingham but most Silhillians would argue against that with great furvour and possibly some shot gun shells.Work, I work in the city centre.
A touch abrubt but,
1 I do
2 Balsall Heath (yay!)
3 Nope. Northern Ireland
4 My parents (in a car)
