“Massage parlour shame”

“Lid lifted on Birmingham massage parlour shame”, as reported by the Birmingham Mail, here.

I walk past it every day, the one they have pictured! I thought it was a crack den personally, but apparently it’s just a brothel. Just a brothel! I haven’t seen anything dodgy, but there’s always been more people than you would expect coming in and out of the house. And then there’s the CCTV cameras. Sometimes there’s a police car in the car park opposite, but I don’t know if they’ve done anything about it.

Oh god, I live within 100 meters of two. Not something thats ever really bothered me – we don’t get any trouble from either Penny’s or The Hideaway. At least, not often.

A friend of mine, who was abandoned by the university during her first year and had to find her own housing, four years ago ended up living in a flat which had its front door on the approach to one of the said brothels.

One night, two blokes knocked on the door, looking for a shag. When the housemates refused (one girl and two guys), the two blokes offered to pay for the girl housemate to strip off, and for the two guys to give them hand relief.

Funnily enough, they declined. They got a lot of calls like that.
