I doubt it’s connected, but…

Some piece of shit tried to attack a couple of my mates with a knife on the 101 this morning. Apparently there was a bunch of people on the bus and they just sat there quietly whilst this prick held up my mates.

Great day to come back to Brum! Stabbings and death all round.

Sometimes people really piss me off. I’ve been witness to similar before where I was the only one on a packed rush hour bus to come to someones aid. I don’t understand how 70+ people can decide someone being beaten up in front of them is none of their business. scum.

Yeah, although they didn’t get anything nicked.

Unfortunately, over the years, we’ve all been taught to not get involved. If you get injured the police will usually say it’s your own fault for getting involved, if you have to defend yourself they will arrest you (even though the law says that you have a right to defend yourself).

I sometimes think that we need to go back to having conductors on buses, give em a panic button which if pressed feeds the CCTV to the police (effectively build a 3G phone into the system) along with the location (GPS, could also be used to track progress and traffic).

That would cost TWM money, though. Something they don’t like doing.
