Bottom’s up!
Apparently Birmingham consumes more bottles of champagne than any other city in the UK! I, however, have not bought any in the recent past… the cost of renting an apartment in the city centre leaves little in my budget for such things *cry*.
Maybe i’ll have to buy a bottle on the way home tonight, just to keep up the trend. I certainly agree with the article that the area around the ICC and Brindleyplace canals could be ideal for a cool glass of champers on a hot, sunny summers day…. maybe some strawberries and cream, too…. mmmmmmmm! *drool*
